The Sonic Rainboom is a unique magical stunt which can only be performed by Rainbow Dash. It appears in the following places in the story:
- One during the fight with Discord.[1]
- One at the climax of the Silvadel arc, as Rainbow is diving downwards through a swarm of dragons back to the Sanctuary.
- Several over a warzone during the climax of Odrsjot[2]
- One during a race in Durandana.
- One during a race at Ether Point.
- One while chasing the runaway Noble Jury on its final flight over Val Roa.
